NOTICE of ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 27th November 2024 and CHRISTMAS LUNCH

10am Please Arrive

10.30am ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

11am – 11.30am  – Jan Impey will talk about the Australian Floral Art Assn. Convention – SouthEastern Splendour held in Canberra, September2024

11.30am – 12.30pm – SHARED LUNCH – Attendees please bring a plate of savoury food.  (Oven and Microwave available)                   Committee will provide dessert

12.30pm -2.30pm Everyone to participate in a Christmas Impose Surprise Box                    (pls bring toolbox)

2.30pm – 3pm Clean Up and Depart

There will be a Christmas Raffle and Trading Table.  So remember to bring extra change!

The Committee will design Christmas arrangements around the room. If anyone would like to bring along a design – you are most welcome, but please supply your own staging.

Repurposed Straw Himmeli Design 

TIME: 9:30 for 10:00 start        .

COST: Entry $15.00 plus Materials $10 ($25) am/pm:

SUPPLIED: All materials for the Himmeli structure.

The individual blocks can be arranged in various numbers and patterns.

BYO: Either a single or double pronged stand, long necked bottle/vase, or a modern candlestick. Fresh or dried floral material, lightweight with small stems.

Judges Re-accreditation Day

Judges Re-accreditation Day was held on Wednesday 26 June 2024.

Nine judges attended the day, and three judges via virtual presentations.

The Victorian Floral Art Association and the Floral Art Guild of ACT are delighted to invite you to the AFAA Convention 2024 – Southeastern Splendour – being co-hosted by both organisations at the Ainslie Football Club in Canberra.

Floriade will be in full swing during the Convention, so you will be able to immerse yourself in a world of flowers and floral art whilst you are visiting Canberra.
